Letter to the Editor, Dean Stone,

We've been reading and seeing a
lot of quotes lately... quotes of America's
founding fathers. I for one had never seen the
depth of wisdom these men held dear. I did
understand we were a new nation being built upon
Godly principals, Godly principals which moved
families to flee from the absolute rule of a
king. They sought a liberty which could only be
found in Christ Jesus and not the false liberty
the world offers. A liberty not meant to ensnare
but a liberty to live as free men and women
without tyrannical rule. I don't care how you
might twist and spin the history of this nation
and the resolve of our founding fathers, the one
thing they were not were cowards in trusted
positions as we have today in our government.
Not all but the majority would sell you out for
a nickel. Even as you read this some are
gathered in dark corners plotting to take
advantage of your trust.
Have you ever considered why
America has always been considered the last
bastion of hope on the face of this earth? It is
certainly not because it was founded upon
liberal (strike that), I meant to say
secular progressive foundations or else it would
have rotted from within before it got a start.
Can you imagine this nation built upon
handouts... who would have built it, a nation
without restraint, a nation without Godly
convictions other than those of mans own
stinking flesh. Peradventure abortion had been
law how many years would it have taken for us to
devour ourselves? Depravity has taken on a new
meaning as have so many words. To a nation set
on ungodliness "the only sin now a man or woman
can commit is to speak openly of it". However I
can say without fear, "Allah will kill all
infidels" and rest easy.
Imagine our founding fathers considering a rule
of law, a way of life, a constitution to govern
a people in fairness and oneness... and then
compare them to the wimps we have today penning
a foundational constitution for a new nation
motivated only by what is in it for them and on
rare occasion throw their constituents a crumb
to nibble on until the next election. I cannot
speak to health care, cap and trade, outlandish
and unspeakable spending against a nations debt;
but I can discern when a majority of America's
citizens stand against such legislation... when
a show of hands overwhelm that which is being
forced upon them. That as an American citizen
with a right to speak and be counted, your mark,
your name is held as nothing, being called an
American has absolutely no meaning whatsoever...
there is no validity in your voice or mine. What
is "majority rules" when they lose at every
turn.
So given this new Obama rule of
governing, "the majority loses", does that not
make McCain our president instead of Obama? How
do the losers of a vote by the consensus of the
people win, how do the winners of a vote by the
consensus of the people lose? The spirit of
tyranny moves upon the soul of Washington; you
call it what you want but when absolute power is
used to bully legislation over the consent of
the majority of our people then you have no
rights as a citizen to govern the actions of
those you've placed in office to do your
bidding... what's the purpose then? Why go on?
Just what do you call this form of rule when the
majority loses? You American, yes you... you are
nothing to these people in power... how does
that feel? Wanna vote for him again or would it
even matter? Why do you even vote?.
There has been a basis for
America being called the last bastion of hope
for peoples of all nations seeking the freedoms
and the liberties to be found in it. Where in
the world do you think these liberties and
freedoms came from, a progressive? Well in truth
they did not come from the world but from above.
The American flag that you flew over the
weekend, the stars and stripes you might have
waved means nothing to those in power today
although they will be standing beside you. You
will never see another nations flag being
trampled on like you are going to see America's
banner being defrauded. "Old Glory" is just that
to a progressive... "old". They want a fresh
progressive banner, the "New and Improved Glory
of False Hope and Change". They will take the
innocence and simplicity of a child as they
will the Godly principals of America's
foundation and make the child and America their
prostitute. You will be the ones accused of
sedition but don't let it bother you... there is
a season, a time and a place for all things
under the sun. I speak to those that hold the
truth, the same unchanging truth that guided the
founders of our nation 232 years ago. God will
have his glory in spite of progressives. Just
what did you celebrate over the weekend?
