But of the tree of
the knowledge of good
and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the
day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. |

| Now
God did not tell us what this fruit was so we'll use
the apple as most generally do. It matters not that
we know, only what this fruit contained and its
aftermath. |

As Paul
said,
"Would to God ye could
bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear
with me".
You don't obviously have to believe what I write nor
should you as we are told to search the scriptures
for ourselves. The key to what I see in the
knowledge of the tree of good and evil is this fruit
that contained (2) two ingredients. Now these
ingredients are mixed together and are not
separated, (one being on one side of the fruit and
the other on the opposite side). We might compare
this fruit to a sweet and sour taste in one entity.
When it was eaten Adam and Eve consumed both
ingredients in the same bite... the good (sweet) and
the evil (sour). So began the fall of man, and his
offspring born into sin for generations to come.

This afternoon Michael, Jonathon, Victor,
Jeremiah, Sam and Pete got into a fight over
spilt milk. In the heat of anger there were
bloodied noses and a broken arm.
|
Later that night Pete who had broken
Jeremiah's nose went to the hospital to
apologize for his uncontrollable actions
and the actions of his friends, they both
cried. |

|
All six of
these guys had one thing in common; due to the fall
in the garden they were all born with the two
ingredients in their spirits, they were passed on
from others before them. On one hand this fruit
got them into an
argument and a fight pursued, then after the fight
the goodness came out and they were all sorry for
what they had done. Good and evil, sweet and sour?
You think about it. |

But
wait, there was this other tree in the Garden of
Eden that God spoke of...
the Tree of Life. Who or what was this tree symbolic
of? Did God make a way for man to escape the grips
of this fruit that had poisoned him? Could God have
allowed this scenario to have a people who could
choose of their own will to follow him? And if
so, just how would God get man to a point to make
that choice? Did Adam and Eve have a choice whether
to follow God or not follow God while under his
protection inside the Garden of Eden? Did that
serpent have the audacity to think for one second
that he snuck by God to get at the woman? Did God
allow the serpent to approach the woman? Could not
God have snuffed the life out of the serpent any
time he chose to do so? |
